Dental prosthetics – what does treatment at Kaya Dent involve?
Modern prosthetics come in many forms, but with one goal: restoring a natural smile, comfort, and self-confidence. At Kaya Dent Wrocław, we help patients who have lost teeth for various reasons regain not only their aesthetics but also proper speech, chewing, and the stability of their remaining teeth.
Thanks to advanced implantology, we can now replace a single missing tooth or stabilize an entire denture on implants. In cases of developmental or genetic defects, prosthetics restore both function and beauty.
Today, prosthetics are more than just filling gaps—it's an art. Our specialists combine digital smile design with precision craftsmanship to create veneers and restorations that look and function like natural teeth.

Dental Prosthetics Wrocław – Procedure Overview
Before starting prosthetic treatment, we conduct a thorough consultation and examination to understand the patient’s needs and plan a comprehensive treatment. The prosthodontist presents multiple options, explaining their pros and cons, allowing the patient to choose the solution that suits them best. A schedule for follow-up visits is then established.
When aesthetics are important, patients receive a mock-up or wax model to preview the future restoration in the mouth. The number of visits depends on the chosen prosthetic solution, and our in-house dental technician performs precise laboratory work between appointments. Having the lab on-site ensures seamless collaboration and the highest quality results.
For implant-based reconstructions, the prosthodontist works closely with the surgeon from planning to restoration, ensuring a flawless outcome. If missing teeth or partial edentulism are holding you back from smiling, visit Kaya Dent Wrocław’s prosthetic center—our skilled and friendly specialists will restore your smile and confidence.
Kaya Dent Wrocław – all-ceramic crowns
At Kaya Dent Wrocław, all-ceramic crowns are very popular, primarily due to their natural aesthetics. Made entirely of ceramic, they reflect and transmit light like natural teeth, making them ideal for restoring front teeth. Although mechanically somewhat less durable, they are often used as prosthetic restorations on implants, combining beauty with functionality.
Kaya Dent Wrocław – porcelain crowns
At Kaya Dent Wrocław, porcelain crowns are a popular choice for restoring damaged teeth or those following root canal treatment. They consist of a metal framework covered with porcelain, made of high-quality materials that are allergy-friendly and resistant to plaque buildup. The result is a durable and aesthetic restoration, tailored to the patient's individual needs.
Kaya Dent Wrocław – Dentures and Their Durability
At Kaya Dent Wrocław, dentures typically need replacement or adjustment every 2–3 years due to natural bone resorption after extractions. Poorly fitted dentures can make eating difficult, irritate the gums, and, in some cases, lead to precancerous changes such as leukoplakia. Damaged dentures are also an indication for repair or replacement.
Crowns and bridges can serve for many years, while implants are even more durable. Daily oral hygiene is essential to prevent inflammation around prosthetics. Our specialists provide guidance on the right cleaning products, single-tuft toothbrushes, and special denture brushes to help your restorations remain strong, comfortable, and safe.
Kaya Dent Wrocław – Advice from Our Prosthetics Specialist
Missing front teeth are easy to notice — but the absence of molars, the teeth responsible for chewing, often goes unnoticed. Yet, it can significantly affect your overall health.
Studies show that the loss of molars may increase the risk of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. Chewing stimulates blood flow to the brain, improving oxygenation. Without it, the brain may receive less oxygen, potentially leading to memory and cognitive issues.
Missing molars also make it difficult to eat certain nutritious foods, such as nuts, which are rich in essential vitamins and minerals. Insufficient chewing burdens the digestive system and reduces nutrient absorption.
At Kaya Dent Wrocław, our prosthetics specialists ensure that every missing tooth is restored — bringing back proper function, health, and your confident smile.
Questions from You 🙂
1️⃣ What should I do if I feel discomfort or a “tight fit” after getting my denture?
That’s completely normal — your tongue and lips need a little time to adjust to the new conditions.
Most patients adapt within just a few days.
During your final prosthetic visit, your doctor will plan any necessary adjustments to ensure full comfort.
However, if you experience pressure spots or persistent discomfort before your scheduled check-up, don’t wait — reach out to your prosthetics specialist.
2️⃣ How should I care for my dentures?
Clean your dentures thoroughly after every meal using a special denture-cleaning paste — regular toothpaste is too abrasive.
Remove removable dentures at night and store them in a dry place (never in a glass of water, as it may cause deformation).
Even with excellent hygiene, dentures should be replaced every 2–3 years due to material wear and natural changes in the mouth.
